Charlie was shot in the chest and this would leave a bloody whole in this white tank top. When and where would he have gotten a new one?

reply

When the old man at the gas station was giving Charlie his own car to follow Rachel, he helped him transfer some luggage from Charlie's beat-up Pinto to his beautifully kept up 1948 Ford Coupe. I'm going to guess that Charlie probably had a spare undershirt in one of those bags. Remember, when he left the club after being shot — and healed — he was wearing no shirt at all.

However, I did notice this: As he was driving away from the club, he was wearing a fresh undershirt. A moment later, when the motorcycle gang started chasing him, he was wearing the same colored tee-shirt he was wearing when he was shot(*). Then suddenly he's back to wearing the clean undershirt again.

(*)And at that point you're right: no blood, no bullet hole.

Have you noticed that in Shakespeare's plays soothsayers said the sooth, the whole sooth, and nothing but the sooth?
