I think this movie was a complete waste because it was essentially a 'best of' clip show. It's such a shame that DIC didn't have the money, or resorces to produce a full blow movie with an original storyline. (Perhaps have Heathcliff meet Riff Raff for the first time, and they save the twon from say The Catfather who's out for revenge against him.) That would've been great. Yet Garfield get's a full blown live action/cgi crapfest. Oh the crule irony!

i always found the Catillac Cats (particularly Cleo. REOWR!) more interesting than Heathcliff himself. Without segments of them (by "them", i mean INCULDING Riff-Raff & Cleo, not just the other 3), the movie just falls flat. I mean, lookit the opening and end credits. who takes up most of the animation, Heatcliff, or the Catillac Cats? i rest my case.
I loved the film as a child, and I bet I'd love it now.
