25th Anniversary

This movie opened in theaters on Friday, January 10, 1992, and today is its 25th anniversary. I don't actually remember when it first opened then, but I do remember hearing about it in the following years, and then renting it out from a video store and watching it a couple of times on our VCR in 1993. I then paid around four dollars and taped it off a pay per view service in 1994 using our VCR, the first movie I ever taped off pay per view. I immidiently liked it the first time I saw it and it got on my favorite movies of all time list, where it has remained ever since. I became homeless in 1997 and remained so until 2010, so had no way to watch it all those years, but in late 2010 got an apartment and a tv and dvd player. I then brought alot of movies on dvd to watch then, though not this one, though I saw it in Wal-Mart for just five dollars in 2010 and 2011 and wished I had brought it before they stopped selling it, that is something I regretted for a long time afterwards. But I joined netflix in March, 2013 and it was one of the first movies I got from then, watching it several times. I still liked it as much as ever, and in the spring of 2015 brought it from amazon, and have watched it a few times since then. So happy 25th anniversary to it today.
