This one seems underrated

I really quite enjoyed this Godzilla flick... I mean seriously, who can't love Asian Indiana Jones at the start? And the creature battles toward the end were nothing short of great fun. Very spectacular. I even enjoyed the music... Mothra's theme is particularly haunting, especially with the Cosmos chanting away. I think it's a definite improvement on the original GvsM, which was decent in its own right.

I agree.

I much prefer the 60s Godzilla vs. Mothra. There's too much cheesiness and ridiculously bad (even for these kinds of movies) dialogue/dubbing in the 90s one. There's something more atmospheric and captivating about the 60s one. That being said, the 90s Godzilla looks better and scarier, the 90s Mothra is more powerful and impressive, and the fight scenes are superior. I think both are decent entries into the pantheon of Godzilla films in their own rights.

Perhaps in America, but the Japanese love this one.

I also consider this movie a underrated flick.Sure it can be cheesy at times but I founded it to be overall a very fun and enjoyable godzilla movie.
