indian jones referances.

how come the movie connections section doesnt contain anything about the indiana jones referances, specificly, the sections on birth island, and some of the sections in thailand. Heck, I quoted shorty's line on the bridge from temple of doom when I saw them crossing that vine bridge as the referance was so obvious.

I would do it myself if i knew how.

Birth Island doesn't appear in this one. Mothra's Island is consistently called Infant Island in Japanese. That said, Kazuki Omori as both scriptwriter and director had a weakness for ripping off of Hollywood blockbusters...some of the worst Godzilla fanboys let HIM off the hook and curse the names of Devlin and Emmerich for pulling the same crap.

if you watch the original 1964 version, there are many scenes that clearly inspired Spielberg and not vice-versa. In this version, they simply elaborated on the original and made it more appealing to Westerners with a more familiar feel.
