Fairuza Balk looks just like...

...a young Scarlett Johanson in this movie, don't you think? I actually thought it was her until I read the credits.

No, I don't think she looks at all like Scarlett Johanssen, but I will say one thing about Fairuza's looks, at that time in her life I think she very well may have been the prettiest girl in the world.

reply

I didn't see the resemblance at all? But she was cute in this film. I liked her a lot. very good actress.

reply

Really? Neither one of you agrees with me? Man oh man, I thought the resemblance was uncanny at the time! Huh.

No, they don't look anything alike but they have a similar introspective quality and a soulfulness. Fairuza's character in this is kind of similar to Scarlett's in Manny and Lo.

reply

Until I read the credits, I thought she was Neve Campbell who was in Wild Things with Kevin Bacon, Matt Dillon, and Denise Richards. She doesn't remind me of Scarlett Johanson at all. She was great in Waterboy starring Adam Sandler, very funny.

reply

She looks like a heavy metal chick to me. She should join a group ?.

reply

I sort-of see the similariy but Balk is/was more attractive than Johanson.

I thought she looked like Amy Adams in this movie.

reply

I thought Isla Fisher, but I think Isla and Amy look alike. I confuse them sometimes.

reply

... Jenna Fischer, the secretary from The Office series (USA version). The whole time I watched this movie I thought she was Jenna Fischer, although I realized that Gas Food Lodging is a bit too old a movie for Jenna Fischer to be in it. But I thought she must have been really young and this must have been her first role. Well, I stand corrected.

reply

Funny how we all see someone different. At first glance, I thought she was a young Isla Fisher.
