John Lithgow was great as Ian McCandless!!!
Though, I did find him a bit snobbish at times.

sharePerhaps John Lithgow would've been cool as McCandless, but in reality, he DID NOT PLAY HIM! Go look at the movie box or watch it again when it's on TV, McCandless was played by Anthony Hopkins. Unless there was a TV show of Freejack where Lithgow played McCandless, that sounds cool. I never saw it if there was such a show.

Lithgow was also awesome in The Manhattan Project. Another favorite is the The Edge. That ruled!
shareLet's not forget Lithgow's other great roles in films such as Footloose, Dexter (as the serial killer Trinity), Ricochet, and, of course, his greatest role as Dr Hannibal Lector in Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal.
And he was that one old dude in the World's Fastest Indian.
With regard to Anthony Hopkins (not sure why he was mentioned here as he has no relation to Freejack), he was great in Psycho, and also 2010: The Year we Make Contact.
