I remember when 'Freejack' came out, I remember commenting that by 2009 no one would even remember this picture. Well, here it is, the future world of 2009 but does anyone remember it? Do you think it's worth remembering?

Funny, I bought this movie on Laserdisc when it was released ! (Still have it)
I was looking up some FAQ if any on the show, and I knew I wasn't crazy, Other people too wanted to know how the river rat guy on the dock knew Alex Furlong.
I also noticed when they announced the plan for the Freedom Tower, that it TOTALLY reminded me of the FreeJack Tower!!!!
I've also been scared of the recent events with the economy and world affairs, that "10 year depression" my be starting now....although, later than the movie portrayed!
Another thing, the way it's getting more unsafe in public areas, I won't be suprised if soon, we have "Safe Zones" or "Sectors" of or cities & states that we're told to not go in and the police will not help you if you go there!
Did you notice that how there were video screens all over New York in the movie in 2009? NOW they are here and real!!!!
It's scary how things in the movie come to pass!
I loved the movie!! One of my favorites! FREEJACK!!!!!!! I'm just glad everything turned out fine for Alex & Julie! "Let's see what this baby can do"!!! LOL
Yes, I remember this movie. I'm glad to have it in my movie collection. Its a fun movie to watch.

For some reason, the cars and buses have different colors and look different then people thought they would in 1987. But then again, the Jetsons thought we'd have flying cars by 2000.

Watching it now. I skipped out on back when it came out because quite frankly, it looked terrible.
