why she told Uma that she must not have hopes that they will be a couple, before he gets the dumbbell ?
He was so honest ? He didn' t rrealize that a hurt woman woundn't help him, rather want revenge ?

Not at all. Very brilliant people can do totally stupid things. The point of this movie is to demonstrate that people can see other people as they want them to be rather than how they actually are.
shareIf you watched further he planned and new that she would be upset and go to see heather and help her. That is why you see the guy that the doctor called to help him get the dumbbell. I thought it was wrong or stupid for him to stop seeing her too but it really was a trick to get the dumbbell. He knew she would go see heather.
I thought that he asked her for the dumbbell after he said he wouldn't be her doctor anymore was stupid too but realized after it was just a setup. Heather and doctor tried to outsmart each other.
I am a gore watching freak!!!
If it don't have it, it isn't worth the watch.
