Why is Harris Yulin uncredited?

Harris Yulin may not come up to the stature of some of the 'greats' in the character actor/supporting cast parthenon thanks to his distinctive looks, but why he went uncredited in this movie is puzzling. Anyone out there have any (verifiable) "insider scoop" or even a good guess?

I just came from the Dead Again (1991) board to see if- after all these years- why Robin Williams was never credited in the original credits alongside Ken Branagh etc. But now he is on the cast list for the film here on IMDb.
I came here to FA board to see why Gary Oldman got cut from the film and found your question!

The prosecuting attorney for Basinger's trial.

This is my educated guess based on the above article.

As a relatively very well known character actor at the time, he may have wanted a higher credit. E.G. "with HY" or "HY as ...". He may have been turned down on that front and just gone the uncredited route.

To be fair to the producers in this film, the role of the prosecutor isn't that large.🐭
