Fairies and forests are COOL!

Just wanted to mention that Fern Gully got me totally obsessed with fairies as a little girl! (I saw this movie before Thumbelina) I was so enchanted on how they were so tiny and glowed blue and green when they flew! I used to make my own fairies from clay and play with them in my backyard and pretend the yard was a rainforest. XD;

I also totally got into rainforests because of this film. I studied all about them on my own and all the adorable animals that live in them! I even made a rainforest model for elementary school. Everybody loved it and I got a perfect grade on it. And it was all because of FernGully!!

So I owe this movie a huge thanks. :) (Though no thanks to Hexxus for all the nightmares. XD)

I'm kinda sad that there are not many animated films that center around fairies...):
THERE SHOULD BE MORE! >_____<

And no, The Fairly Oddparents doesn't count. XD
