So is there only one NTSC DVD release of this film? Does it have the original theatrical aspect ratio? If there is more than one DVD release, which is better? Any word on a re-release or Blu-ray release any time soon?
Basically, would you suggest me buying this DVD now or waiting...

I don't know if it's the theatrical aspect or not but it's still a good buy. If it was coming out on blu-ray then of course I would get that one, but I have watched my normal DVD of it, in a blu-ray player on a 50 inch TV and it looks amazing.
There are no special features, which sucks, but it's still one of my favourite DVD's.
I found it, today, in a $6 bin at HMV. DVD with special features and choice to watch it widescreen or full.
