Obviously, the biggest goof of all was the lack of Aussie voice actors. But in the film:
When Crysta pulls out Zak's wallet, his height & weight are given in US, rather than metric units (although that may have been done for American audiences).
When Crysta finds out about Zak lying about the forest, she flies off until she sees the barren land. Then she looks down & see humans tying logs to a truck. The truck is left-hand drive.
How do you know this is supposed to take place in Australia? Think about the references to Mount Warning... last time I checked no such mountain exists in Australia.
shareIdk, when I googled Mount Warning there were all kinds of things about Mount Warning in New South Wales, Aus. Soooo I'm going to say there IS a Mount Warning in Australia. Given that they have a whole national park surrounding it and my boyfriend (now lives in the US, but was born and raised in Melbourne) has been there several times.
