was it me or were there comedy sound effects in this film?... i couldn't tell for sure because it was on tv and i couldn't rewind to hear it again. the part in question is the beginning where tome cruise is getting beaten by his friends before he is told his father is dead.

yes indeed they were his brothers
although some part of the movie was funny i didnt hear any comedy sound effects but i was watching it on a bad tape

I listen to it on dvd and it sounded fine.
