Wuthering Heights has such a beautiful soundtrack. I really enjoy listening to Young Catherine, Cathy and Edgar and I Am Heathcliff. Ryuichi Sakamoto is such a talented composer. It's a shame that he doesn't receive better recognition for his works in North America. I know I would prefer his music to the tired, recycled melodies many popular composers are recording nowadays.

Well, I found one, but the person is asking $100 for it. That is way out of my price range. I have been in contact with EMI Classics and they said it was never released in the US due to copyright problems or something. Would you mind emailing me at home at [email protected]? Thanks!

If anyone is looking for the soundtrack go to allofmp3.com. They just added it to the site and you can download the entire soundtrack for $1.94! The only drawback is that you have to prepay $10 to download the songs. I just downloaded the soundtrack and the quality is good!

I went to that one link of all the tracks, but had problems with 6 of them. If anyone could email me what I'm missing, I'd really appreciate it:
Track 1: I believe the mp3 is corrupted because it downloaded way to fast and won’t play.
Track 5: stops mid-way
Track 18: Barely gets started and then stops
Track 21: Barely gets started and then stops
Track 24: Same problem as 1
Track 25: Same problem as 1 except I get the very last note…

THere's SOOOOO much to like about this movie, but soundtrack and cinematography are at the top of the list. Sakamoto's use of the wooden flutes playing against the strings during the opening themes gives me chills every single time. One of the best movie scores of all time, right up there with John Barry's "Out of Africa," Ernest Gold's "Ship of Fools," Max Steiner's GWTW and Victor Young's "For Whom The Bell Tolls."
