who is the woman at the end who is wearing a blue cloak thingy ?
i dont see where she fits into the story

This version does the very strange thing of having Emily Bronte narrate the story, that's who that is supposed to be. Being played by Sinead O'Conner by the way.

the woman at the very beginning and at the very end is supposed to be emily bronte, herself, setting up the story and how the story came into her mind.
