i got mine today and it's just a normal box...but it's one hell of a nice set.

I got mine a couple of days ago. It's in a fat, clear Dvd case. The artwork is excellent and there's plenty of Richard Stanley talking, and talking and talking. But he's so fascinating you'll want him to go on and on talking.

The 5 Disc set is limited to 9,999 worldwide, so dont delay.

Mines in the post can't wait. Bit annoyed that I had already brought the UK edtion not knowing about this version coming.

The director's cut makes it a much better film than I remember it being.

Hmmm... Perhaps now there will be some serious attempt to re-release Hardware on DVD in the States...

It's a wicked release. Finally a special edition thats more about contents than package.
Don't get me wrong. I like nice packages, but it's still the contents that matters, and this release has plenty. A great movie and some fascinating docu's also.

You can get the European dvd of Hardware from eBay (it's the english language version with removable subtitles).

Dunno how good the set is, I'm waiting to find a cheap copy before I buy it.

Was gonna buy the standard UK version of Dust Devil as I'm not that bothered about the soundtrack and Stanley's documentaries, but I can get it through Play Trade, brand new for only £13!!! Given that the standard one disc set is around £10 I may as well spend the extra £3!

I'll let you know what the Hardware dvd is like when I get a copy.

Just ordered this after only faintly hearing about it and NEVER seeing it.

Someone please tell me I made the right choice.

I just ordered the 3 disk set. Couldn't find the 5 disk set anywhere. :(

Uwe Boll is a man apart from his subpar horror ilk - he is more genuinely terrible than they are.

There is no 3-disc set. Only 5-disc and single disc. If you ordered from Amazon - their "Product Details" info is wrong.
