He was also in the "Dark Horse Presents" series, number 65 or so I think. That's where I heard about it; there was an image on the cover of Dr. Giggles by Doug Mahnke (who illustrated The Mask!!!!) and it said "soon to be a motion picture from Dark Horse Entertainment." I haven't seen it, but the comic was very interesting.

Wow, i still have these! I bought these in like 6th grade cuz i wasnt allowed to see the movie. Thought i was the only person in the world who knew about these things..

I'm two years too late for this thread, but I have both of those comics too!

They were gory and pretty disturbing actually! Headache inducing.

I actually have those 'R-rated' The Mask comics as well....those were incredible.

Was the film like the comics at all? I remember seeing the trailer for this film back in the day and found out about the comics some years ago. Never got around to checking this out, but might for the hell of it sometime.
