This movie is bad, but its so worth watching just to watch Naveen Andrews in it. I can't believe he was so talented at so early of age. His performance is just spectactular! The Othello scene alone.....just blew me away!

The script and direction didn't much for any of the actors. The Othello scene was the best scene in the movie. I still don't understand what the Tai Chi scenes had to do with anything. Was that how Jimmy was supposed to pull himself together?
shareHello. It's a really long time ago since I watched the film so I can't answer you from memory of the film. It occurred to me they might also signify that's he not quite right, hence needing the routine to pull himself together, as you put it.

That seem s to be the problem with this movie. Nice bits that don't make a good whole. I like the Tai Chi sequences and the Shakespeare and while they do explain the character they just don't help the narrative, must have been the editing.
