Dolly Dearest VHS Cover

I remember going to Blockbuster with my family when I was little and seeing the cover of this where the doll was sitting there with an angry look on her face whilst holding a knife and the title was spelled out of blocks. For some reason it really creeped me out and I just might buy the DVD because of the cover and the memories.

Yeah I felt like that to when I was young.

This cover has not any particular scene in this movie though, and is kind of missleading 'in a bad way'! Not just because the cover is not exactly found in the movie as a scene, but cause it just does, and another cover would be better. Like a picture of only the dolls face when it is alive.

For example: the movie 'Child's Play 2'(wich one may think of when seeing this movie) also had a cover that was not on a scene in the movie, but still it was not as missleading and negative as with this cover. That is my opinion.

Mostly because they are covers and pretty much are photos to sell the film. Most films have covers that are not scenes from the movie. Look at Schindler's List. Nightmare on Elm Street. Halloween. Etc. 

Thats the only reason why I wanted to rent this movie because of the cover and my mother rented it for me while we were at blockbuster...sweet memories?

reply

It's a memorable cover.
