it went over your head, that was a quote from the movie

actually, pall, the quote is "hey hey hey...hey hey hey hey" 3 hey's followed by another 4. Have you not a funny bone?! this movie had me in stitches!

I'm with you. Anyone who did not like this movie did not understand it, pure and simple. This one of the few post-BEVERLY HILLS COP films of Eddie's that really worked for me.

True it is subtle, humourous, intellignet film, with a great cast and acting, fantastic plot and eddie murphy really comes into his own in the film. Seriodly underrated!

I really liked this movie. I think it wasn't the kind of thing people expected or wanted from Eddie, so they stayed away from it but I found it to be a very smart and entertaining comedy that took some on-target jabs at Washington DC and politicians in general. I also think Eddie hired one of his strongest supporting casts for this movie, including the late Lane Smith, Kevin McCarthy, Joe Don Baker, Grant Shaud, and James Garner. Eddie surrounded himself with pros here and I think it really helped.
