This movie was a total hidden gem!

Man it came on HBO and I saw it stared Eddie so I thought I would just check out a few minutes. After about 15 minutes I was hooked! What a great comedy. Great satire and just genuine funny scenes. Why can't Eddie get movies like this today? Can't believe this thing flopped.

I totally agree. I was lucky enough to see this movie years ago when, and couldn't believe that whenever I asked others if they had seen it I always got a "No". I think they are starting to show it more on television because the election season is here. That's great because more people will get to enjoy this awesome movie =]

Completely agree. A little known Eddie Murphy gem. Underrated at 5.6.

Political satire galore here and notice this was made back in 1992. Some very current issues and concerns are exposed in this movie from almost 20 years ago.

Extremely well aged. This movie packages groups of people and the sexes very well, to the point. Satire can be nasty at times to clarify its intention.

Murphy is more subtle in this one than in some of his more slapstick roles. Very well done.

Yea seriously. This movie could be re-released today and people would probably find it even funnier then when it came out.

I didn't understand all the layers of political and congress critique at the time. Now I realize how deep this movie is, in addition to being a hoot.

I watched the movie when it first came out. I'm glad I saw it again recently.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
