Flargnater, I've been thinking about gettting The Dollman/Demonic Toys box set but I've been reading really bad things about Full Moons import DVDs, especially the subspecies box set. The subspecies DVDs apparently have many moments when the films go digital/pixilated and some apparently skip. Did you have any problems like that with the Dollman/Demonic toys DVDs? I don't mind VHS quality picture but I don't want to shell out money for a set that has playback problems and the picture turns digital every so often. I would much appreciate it if you could aid me in decideing whether or not I should get the box set. CHEERS!!!

reply

Mine never do anything like that, my subspecies set is pure sh!t, but this is good

It wasn't what I expected it to be, and it's only an hour long, but, it was pretty good.
Also the Trancers Boxset has come out, I got mine, It's good, but not as good as this set. And part 4 has a glitch.

I picked up all the Full Moon Box Sets in September at the Full Moon roadshow. I have not had a problem with any of my sets which include the Dollman/Demonic Toys set, Trancers set, Subspecies set, Charles Band vol.1 set, and the Stuart Gordon set. Now granted they are definetly not the Laserdisc prints they are in most instances high quality VHS. There was some problems with the initial Trancers and Subspecies sets at the beginning of the year but the newly released versions are just fine with no glitches whatsoever

I bought my copy from amazon.com last week. I got it yesterday and I've had a great time watching these Full Moon classics. These films were apart of my childhood and I watched them all the time when I was growing up in the 90's. So, I'm having a blast revisiting these films. I've been having a marathon and right now I'm on the last film from the box set (which is Dollman Vs. The Demonic Toys). Also, the original Demonic Toys has held up really well over the years. It's still both scary and funny at the same time. I plan on buying the Subspecies box set next. That's personally my favorite series that Full Moon produced back in the golden years. I'm a big fan of vampires and that series was just awesome.

Nice price. I've never been able to find the Full Moon box set in stores. I bought the triple feature DVD released by Echo Bridge.
