Just a heads up; the 88 Films Blu ray is the same edited version as the old Paramount vhs. The only uncut version I've ever found with all the gore in tact is the horrible box set DVD.

I didn't realize there were cut and uncut versions of this film. It's Full Moon, I always assumed their DVD and Blu-Ray releases were the same as the previous Paramount versions. I've noticed some of the Echo Bridge re-releases are actually VHS transfers. Is the Full Moon DVD box set the uncut version? The Echo Bridge set is probably the same as the old VHS.

The Full Moon box set and single DVD are uncut but look horrible - vhs transfer quality. The 88 films Blu looks amazing, so it really depends on which you would rather have; quality or quantity. I don't blame 88 films. It's the exact same cut that Paramount put on vhs so it was probably the only print they had available. Does anyone know if the Full Moon Blu is uncut? (BTW, the 88 films Blu is region free)

I am now curious if Full Moon's blu-ray is cut as well. I also want to know if the videozone on Full Moon's Blu-Ray is the original 30 minute version (There is a segment before the behind the scenes part featuring the producer and segments after the behind the scenes such as interviews, a poster art featurette, trailers, etc.), since I already know that 88 Films' Blu only has the 8 minute behind the scenes portion.

A little late, but the US release is the same HD sourced, cut version.

Hell, I ain't no quitter. I've been smoking for 30 years...

Better late than never. With that said, it looks like I will be sticking to my VHS release and DVD-R sourced from said tape.
