I notice alot of people who like this movie say they like it because they feel it is "so bad its good" Im not one of these people. I like this movie because I think its genuienly good. The special effects for a small budget were well done and I thought the plot was a really good concept. Plus I like the characters alot. Anyone feel the same way?

On the contrary, I thought the first half was a lot better. I was genuinely enjoying it (not so bad it's good enjoying it like with Killjoy) but once the whole demon baby thing came to the forefront and started over-shadowing the toys killing people aspect it started to lose steam

I've always liked this film. The concepts are great, the toys are memorable as hell. It's, of course, very trashy, with grade D acting and production values, but that's never really stopped me from liking a horror film before.

I'm late to the party.... This is the first time I've ever seen this movie... Just today, and I thought it kicked ass!
Sure, it's a "B" movie... Cheaply made, the acting is sub-par, the special effects are for the most part, bad hand puppets...
Yet, for some reason... It all works!

I saw this for the first time over the weekend. It was on a $5 DVD that contained 8...yes, EIGHT horror movies. LOL! So, I finally got around to watching this.
I would agree with the general feelings in this thread. I wouldn't say it was what I would call a good movie...but then it was never meant to be. It is a B movie for sure, and they wouldn't expect anybody to believe otherwise. But, it was still very enjoyable in my view. The perfect kind of cheesey horror movie that is kind of bad in a way, but you still can't help but love it. Reminded me of Killer Klowns from Outerspace in that way.
To me, the movie this was is exactly the type of movie you should have expected it to be. If you went into it expecting anything better, then it could be your expectations were too high. Because, I had a pretty good idea of what this was going to be just by the fact that it was an old, low-budget B movie, and I wound up really liking it.

I have seen this movie quite a few times over the years and it always makes me smile. Yeah, it's goofy and low budget but for some odd reason, it all works.

I thought the movie was brilliant. The dream sequence was astonishing... like a riddle... sublime, spooky and surreal. Every male charcter in the film was halariously... stupid! (except the children)... The most eeeriest characters were the ghostly children on tricycles with the gas masks that made them appear like robot. animals.

I watched it for the first time today and thought it was great. The plot really was a good concept that was a lot different from other killer doll movies I've seen before. The characters really were likable and I thought the acting was good. I decided to watch this movie after seeing Daniel Cerny's performance in Children of the Corn 3: Urban Harvest and enjoying it very much, and I must say he's just as good in this film as he was in that. Also, Baby Oopsie Daisy was hilarious. She is definitely now one of my favorite horror villains in history. This really was a good film and I am glad I watched it.
