reply

Eddie and Ivy had some of the funniest lines..

reply

shrimp was the best....... but here is the runner up

Jeff Goldblum imitating Felix "a man has only two things in this world..his word and his balls........ Or is that three?"

reply

there was another Scarface line in Deep Cover......

Fishburne said it to the art dealer....

reply

just an fyi. both lines...(when fishburn said "you know something i dont think you trust yourself) and goldblum's line...(i man has 2 things in this world...) they are both from the same sceen, that's what prompted goldblum to say it, it almost seemed adlibbed

reply

Ivy as he speeds off, "WILD, WILD, WEST M U T H A F U C K A!!!!!!!"

reply

LoL perfection, there were so many good lines. This movie was poetic as it was halarious.

reply

ill be back just like that movie you should rent it at the local video store.

The funniest line to me was when Hull kills Gallegos, then gets all up in his face and says something like... "you thought I was going to let you live. You thought I was going to let you get away. I shot you twice." That was hillarious to me, especially the way he says it.

reply

Idolone,I don't mean to come off snotty or anything. But I always thought Laurence Fishburne said:"You thought I was going to let you live? You thought I was going to let you get away?I GOT you twice!" Meaning not only did he take Gallegos'life but he also took his money. That's just me though. But one of the funniest lines is in the beginning of the movie and Jason is in court defending Hull.He gets the case dismissed, heads out towards the door and with an arrogant snicker in his voice..."Hm,Audi 5000." LOVE THAT.So wannabe street, but appropriate at the same time.

reply

You may be right man. I wonder if the dvd has subtitles. I should've thought of it before. Hahaha, "5000", I actually remember people saying that back in the day.

What about the part right after he kills Gallegos where he threatens to put the cigar in the henchman's face. Hull is like "Oh, now your scared, now your afraid". Or something like that. That was hillarious.

reply

Yeah, that last scene you mentioned was hiliarious---BTW, the DVD does have English subtitles--I just saw it today. I also like that last scene where the slimy, two-faced agent gets socked in the gut by John, after asking him that waht's the difference question.

reply

'Your mother and your father'..

"oh wow.. did they get.. buck wild?"

That, to me, was the most hilarious.. Jeff Goldblum doing urban slang.. classic..

you guys are crazy. the best line by far is:

"Let me warn you. I'm like a mad dog after a bone. I'd be all over you like stink on doo-doo. Trust me."

hahahaha... how did they script this??

this is me laughing at anyone that thinks this ISN'T a comedy. what a joke this whole movie is. funniest movie i've ever seen that wasn't intended to be funny.

Easily David's line when he kills Felix:

"Yeah, yeah we'll have shrimp."
"I'll see you in *beep* hell!"
"Get the *beep* out! GET THE *beep* OUT!"
"Then we'll have barbecued jumbo shrimp, you *beep*

"What's the weirdest sex you've ever had? Ever been with two women at the same time?"
"Yeah, your mother and your father."
"Ohh, did my mama get buckwild on you?"

This movie is a CLASSIC!!!

"Let me warn you. I'm like a mad dog after a bone. I'd be all over you like stink on doo-doo. Trust me."

Ya see, you laugh at that but you're forgetting that the policeman saying it is a very religious man, who doesn't swear. This is his attempt at talking tough, but he can't pull it off as he's not able to swear, and the "doo doo" bit is stupid.

Brenda has some pretty funny lines as well.

When Fishburne's character tells her to take better care of her son she wilds out..."I TAKE damned good care of my son...MY SON IS CLEAN........so am I..I just got my test back...hiv negative...just throwing that out there"

this is one of the best films EVER....always laugh when I watch this...

'I just got my test back...hiv negative...just throwing that out there'

That's like my favorite line. I'll randomly say that line to one of my coworkers who told me to watch this movie. As much as this was a crime drama it was a comedy. Anything Eddie said had me laughing. Or when Goldblum left that black chicks apartment and he says he loves pulling black women and Fishburne says something like 'because it's like you're fuc*ing a slave' or something. I just saw this movie for the first time last night and it had me rolling it was not only funny but so good. It also made me realize just how sexy Fishburne is.

You leftout the rest of Eddie's line or what he said sometime during that scene to the Coked Out Girl, "Stop Slurping (snatching the drug from her hand); this ain't no 7/11."

Hilarious

When David and John have that exchange in Betty's store, it's all pretty funny, but then Betty has this line when they get rowdy with each other: "You're blowing my high" or something like that. I always found her line funny.
