one of wills best performances ever

plus mortal thoughts sixth sense and die hard , his performance is great you totally forget you are watching bruce wills and he is hilarious

I agree-I always think Bruce is great when they cast him against type. Ernest is about as far from John McClane as you can get.

reply

Yeah, he's really different in this role.

reply

I absolutely agree. This is his best performance ever! He was surprisingly hilarious and compelling.

reply

And an absolutely terrific screamer too (!)

reply

He was very believable!

Nice to see you GljBradley. It has been a long time! 

Bruce'a performance in this film came across as something Rick Moranis might do when he's not going overboard... a bit clownish but likable. The whole scene after he pushes her down the stairs then learns she's still "alive" was so like Moranis's comedy style that I'd never have believed Willis could pull it off. Got to admit, he was an unusual casting choice but doesn't disappoint.

I always thought of him in the romantic role. To see him do a new character all together restored my faith in acting.

Oh he's fantastic. I'll never get that scene with the glass of whiskey out of my head lol
