and maybe I missed something. Why did they go to the storage facility? Why did they think the nurse's murder was so significant, and assume they'd find clues in her personal belongings? I mean, I would have just assumed she'd been killed because she was in Aura's proximity, as all the people who were killed up to that point were.

That had me confused as well. Though some of the eirlier kills had nothing to do with Aura, this one would seem very likely to just be the killer going after her to erase any witness.

Aura seems to know more than she's willing to admit and perhaps her anorexia is a symptom of some horrible event or familial crisis. Since she's young and still under the spell of her mother its only once she meets David and begins to take matters in her own hands that she gets better. They become detectives.

Here's an even better one. If that's not Aura's mother decapitated at the beginning, who was it and why doesn't anybody figure that out before the end of the movie?
I liked the movie, but that bugged me, as well. Did they just assume it was Aura's mother's body, and didn't bother running any tests or anything?
shareIt was the woman at the seance who was crying and shaking when the mother says the killer is present. The police assumed it was the wife as her husband was similarly beheaded. Remember the killer/psychic mother took their heads as trophies to begin with so no one would have the head of the female whose body it was for identification.

Yeah but I guess Aura could tell how dressed was her mother. After all, she saw her few minutes before. Besides, you don't need a head to identify the body.
