Of all the Danielle Steele books I've read..Jewels is my favorite. Although the movie is okay...the book goes into more detail. She stopped allowoing production companies make her books into movies back in the mid nineties. I would have loved to have seen the book "The Long Road Home" made into a movie.
shareYou read my mind! I was re-reading "The Long Road Home" just yesterday and thinking: how could they make this into a mini-series without showing nor sugar-coating the abuse and would they keep it in the era it was written?
My mind keeps thinking who would make a great Professor Thomas, Father Joe, or jerk Steve.
I hope she would reconsider and let them make this book a movie---it could be great.
