But I suspect there is something I am missing.

I know she sings the song at one point but still.

I've never understood why the movie was called "The Crying Game." I knew it was a song.

What even is a "crying game"?

Does it just mean crying a lot.

I searched it and someone on Yahoo said: The Crying Game refers to the lies that lovers tell each other.

That would make sense. It must be a British thing because I've never heard the expression "the crying game."
