Great performances
Saw this movie again the other night (hired the video). I first saw it many years ago when I lived in the UK and have never forgotten it.
It is kind of a quiet, slow film, but there is a good, evocative soundtrack which lifts it. It struck me this time how good the acting performances are in this film. I was particularly impressed with Donogh Rees as the unfortunate victim of the car crash and how she was physically affected by it.
This film really got under my skin.
