The part where Angel discovers his father dead I thought was funny.
He just stands there for 10 seconds, I didn't know if he would show caring feelings and scream "nnnooooooo" or something, but no, he didn't. He just danced around screaming "yes, every things mine!".
I thought that was unexpected and funny.
Except that it's his uncle.
Also funny was when he was sitting cross-legged, listening to plastic surgery recording, reading the brochure, and his uncle calls him, and he swears up a storm and then sweetly says into the walkie or phone, whatever it was, "yes, uncle" and "oh, be right there". Too funny! His whole distraction about getting a nose job cracked me up. And then all he did was get hit in the nose throughout the movie. LOL.
I didn't actually want him to die at the end.
shareI felt the same way, that he was just so happy that his long wait for that inheritance was finally over that he was literally jumping with joy.
But then I stopped laughing when he saw his uncle was still alive and snapped his neck with his foot.
Not sure why you and the OP found Angel's delight at his uncle's seeming death unexpected. I thought earlier parts of the film clearly indicated his hatred of the old man and the fact that he was only doing things for him to get his inheritance.
