mostly Spanish with a few bits of english, most of Ron Perlman's dialogue is in english.

Also Perlman's father said a line in English. I don't understand why their family spoke English? Their name was De la Guardia, which would be a Spanish name. The film was set in Vera Cruz, Mexico. There was nobody else in the movie who spoke English, so why did Perlman want to speak English so often?
