When they mentioned the 'very strict instructions' for using the device I really hoped they would go into them. I was kinda disappointed that they never revealed what was in the instructions. I thought that woulda been cool.

I agree - that would have improved the film. How much did the grandpa get correct on his own and how much did he miss, causing his skin to go all gray? What was the difference between using it on your hand and your heart? Is one time all it takes or must you continue to use it?
