Always thought this was a movie about the Jump rappers

This has been in the back of my mind for years. When this film came to VHS/TV, the only Criss Cross I had ever heard of was Kris Kross (the kid rappers who wore their clothes backwards and had a wiggity-wiggity whack hit with "Jump"). The two kids were even named Chris!

Even though I knew the Chris character was white, I still thought he was Kris Kross. I thought Kris Kross was one person when I was a kid.


In hindsight, I'm embarrassed. I highly doubt a one hit wonder novelty rap group would make great biopic fodder, even in their heyday.


Ha ha! Well, at least I'm not (100 percent) crazy.
