Is this movie more well known in Europe? It seems an 'undiscovered gem' here in the States. Just look at this message board - there's no one here!

Yes you might be right, though. This film seems to be very little known everywere, including its own native country.
Odd when you think it was the last film produced by the same guy who made "Cinema Paradiso" five years earlier.
