Like so many films today, this one suffered horribly from PG-13 dilution

Bakshi should have done Cool World the same way he did Fritz the Cat, as a truly adult cartoon.

The studio undoubtedly butchered what would have been a far more interesting movie than the latter which was X-rated 20 years prior to this one's release.

They could had waited a number of years and then casted Cameron Diaz as Holly instead. She is pretty much open minded about a lot of things.

Cameron Diaz also would do most anything in the beginning of her career. She got it laying on her back, like Jennifer Lopez, Julia Robert's, etc.... she did, however do Mask.
