Dumb writing equals dumb characters..

What a dumb wife. I can understand doubting the husband, even after 14 years, because the set-up made him look so guilty. But why the heck would you carry on with Eddy? Wouldn't you need time alone? Wouldn't there be just a little bit of "WHAT IF" in your heart? "What if my husband is telling the truth?" Doesn't have to be a lot, just a little that would make you need time alone to think this through.

Also when Richard Parker caught up to her and asked her to play the tape.. I couldn't believe that's all he cared about. I couldn't believe his priority was to SPOOK Eddy, when his wife and child is living with a bat wielding crazy murderer. I would have been pleading with my wife to take my daughter away from this man. Nah, lets tease and aggravate him instead. What could go wrong? It's only his wife and child who are in danger, nobody important I guess.

I would keep the evidence a secret instead teasing him like I'm still in grade school. He didn't kill the random woman, but he was guilty in getting the real Kay killed. Unbelievable! Dumb writing equals dumb characters.

And that f'ing, Gas - awful singing by Kayr.....Rebecca Miller's character. JESUS CHRIST, if I had a gun, I would have shot the TV hearing her sing the first time. But they have that. Haha ter ding in year completely fake, soulless voice o er, and over, and over, and over.....

HATE IT.

And Rebecca Miller has aged SO BADLY since this film.

I agree. And, the coroner's office didn't check dental records and tissue samples to make sure it was the real Kaye? I guess they just assumed it was her, given that this woman was in the house, but dtill.

And, couldn't Kevin Kline tell it wasn't her???? Didn't he see her face AT SLL. I know she was blond and naked, but come on.

And Kevin Spacey's acting was over-the-top for me. I didn't like it. When Kline's wife plays the tape for Spacey, he acts so outraged sort of stupidly, in an exaggerated fashion.

This film was filled with lousy characters....Kevin Spacey, E. G. Marshall, Kaye (I ABHORRED her singing), and Mary Elizabeth Mastriantonio.
