This should be the film that Patrick Swayze is remembered for. For a spoiled American actor to have risked doing this film is amazing, and major risks were taken by him. This is the REAL India. It makes Slum Dog Millionare look like a Disney film.

Thanks I only wish that they would have a new Oscar catagory for actors that have passed on and should have won a Oscar for a role. patrick swayze gave an Oscar winning performance in this film. Namastay.

This film was one of Patrick Swayze's best performances, and a very good movie.

As much of a great actor he was, he wasn't good in City of Joy.

He wasn't bad, but I agree that he's given better performances.

Have to agree with this. I kept thinking throughout the movie how perfectly they had captured India.
