Stick with the facts if you want to discuss. Forget name calling.
Several things:
* At the time the film was made (enough years ago to have since raised a newborn to an adult) there was still debate as to whether the Rosenbergs were guilty.
* Although the film strongly suggests Rosenberg was innocent, even she doesn't actually say that in the film.
* Rather than ghosts or spirits, Rosenberg and the others are Cohn's hallucinations as he suffered from AIDS-related dementia (a condition the newspapers said he had) and may reflect his own guilt rather than their innocence.
* If you think this film is all about the Rosenbergs and "Reds", then you must not have watched much of it.
* Just because Cohn was right on the Rosenbergs doesn't mean he had the evidence at the time to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt despite the verdict at the time, and it says nothing about his other accusations, and it doesn't excuse his methods.
* In my view, anyone who sends anyone to the death penalty is evil. Governments should not have the power to kill their own citizens and residents.
* If you think this film is all about the Rosenbergs and "Reds", then you must not have watched much of it.

Roy Cohn was a villain (and not surprisingly, a momma's boy) of the greatest proportion.
It has been agreed upon that Rosenberg's wife was not involved.
But what is one innocent life when it might stand in the way of Cohn having a successful career defending lowlifes, and persecuting people of the same lifestyle that he was so desperately trying to hide.

What is one life you say. What about the 20 million victims of Josef Stalin? Both Rosenbergs supported him. They knew about the man made famine, mass murders, purges, political show trials and assassinations all carried out in the name of soviet communism. The Rosenbergs were no innocents!
Roy Cohn was indeed a hypocrite and an all-around power-hungry sleaze, but that doesn't change the fact that the Rosenbergs were rightly convicted and executed for selling nuclear secrets to the Soviet Union at the height of the Cold War. It's sickening to see film after film portraying them as martyrs and innocent victims of anti-Semitism (i.e. Cohn's absurd vision of Ethel's speech about being targeted for being Jewish).
