Is it really that bad?

I haven't seen this movie, but I've heard alot of different views on it.
It only has a 2.7, but I've seen lower. Plus IMDb doesn't usually give horror B-movies the benefit of the doubt, and they're usually all lowly rated.
Aside from that I am a huge fan of horror movies. And I love all kinds of zombie movies, like Romero's "Dead" series. And I like cheesey 80's horror B-movies.

So I have to ask: Is this movie really that bad?/Would I like it?

I just need some opinions before I go out and buy it and end up throwing it in the fireplace for it being bad.

Well if you like cheesy 80's horror I guess you're gonna love this one! At least I did! This is intentionally done so badly it's so good!

Well...I love Re-Animator and Return of the Living Dead.
Don Calfa was amazing in ROTLD...so I'll have to try to find a copy of this

You can't take this movie as seriously as you can those, this is definetely more of a spoof, but I love all three movies (CCIZT and the two you mentioned)

The English will not be pushed around much longer...

yes it is that bad it really is, but it does have a great comedic value

This is my favorite bad movie. I think it gets away with it because it's obvious that no one involved was approaching it as a serious horror movie project. As someone else mentioned, it's more of a bad movie spoof of bad movies. I'd list it as a comedy. I think even the overacting is done in a tongue-in-cheek manner. I wouldn't recommend buying it without having seen it before (too late for the original poster I'm sure), but it's definitely worth a rental if you enjoy this kind of thing.
