If the Good Guy has been off the market for 8 years and Chucky is the first of the new batch then where did the Good Guys in the CEO's apartment come from?

One was probably the very first Good Guy doll to come out in 1988; the other one was the first one off the assembly line after production resumed following the controversy caused after the first movie's murders. All the toys he had were probably first editions from toy's initial first batch.

I would assume they were just old dolls he had inside his apartment, I mean he was the CEO of the good guy dolls, im sure his whole family had those dolls.
