How in the hell could any parent allow...

their child to play Cat, or the son, for that matter? Wow! Incest, rape, overt violence, animal cruelty, adult language and manipulation, severe mental trauma, etc.

The two actor kids must have needed psychological help after starring in THIS one.

The children were very convincing in their roles. I feel sorry for both of them. What sh!tty parents these 2 kids have. I'm flabbergasted!

Actually your wrong. The child actress that played Cat, Ashley Peldon said that this movie helped her become interested in helping children who were molested.
In January 2007, Peldon graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in Child Psychology
and Film from Skidmore College in New York
Her interest in child psychology originated from her dramatic role as the sexually abused youngster in CBS TV's "Child of Rage" when she was 7 years old.

Wow, that is very good to hear. More power to her, then! Still, I think most children would be scarred from the role at least a little bit. For me, it was hard to wtach, never mind what it must have been like from the viewpoint of a participant.

Where did you find that information about her? I'd love to know if she did in fact come away from it totally unscathed or did she need any counseling afterward. I understand that as an adult it caused her to react in a positive light, but wonder what the journey was like for her.

Did you ever see the documentary on YouTube? (I believe it's still posted there - the title is "A Child of Rage." I could not bear to watch that for more that about 6-7 minutes. My heart was breaking for the poor kid. So horrible.
