I almost didn't watch this.

But I'm so very glad that I did.

It's almost impossible to describe what this movie is about: Elderly women with elderly ways, in an elderly chateau with elderly staff in an ancient French village live their lives for a while, as the world changes around them.

In so many reviews for various movies I have seen the quote, "Two hours I'll never get back". This movie is a delightful two hours well-invested.
