So...the first two members of Remy's crew were going with the same girl?

I must have seen this film at least ten times but here's something I picked up on just the other night: after the first two deaths of Remy's sound recordists (I think it's Patrick and Franco) he does a to-camera "eulogy" for each man...which BOTH end with Remy saying: "...and to Marie-Paule, who's carrying your unborn child". Granted it could be a coincidence and both girlfriends share the same name but given the tone of extreme black comedy of the film I think it's unlikely! To me it's just another really funny example of the pitch-dark humour of this masterpiece which I hadn't picked up on before.
