Pete's antics

Pete is hilarious when everybody starts being nice to him and when he is in Mr. Graff's shop he goes postal. He also rants: "That's it I'm gonna sabotage your whole shop!" Or something like that.

Anyone else agree with me? Do you think it's funny?

Its an awful movie. Its a white-washed, completely (brainlessly) unrealistic film. Your kids deserve better than this.

reply

i need to quote homer....ive seen things that suck before, but this was the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked

reply

It was made with good intentions, but done poorly.
It could have been better if the story wasn't so dorky.

Come on, what 14 year old, even in the past, has a treehouse with "No girls ALOUD", except for a dork?

reply

I agree. Kids need a movie that is very realistic in order to teach morals.

reply

I agree. This is the funniest movie ever made, hands down. Although I can't help but feel a little guilty every time I sit through this whole piece of crap, I still enjoy it while it lasts.

reply

All I can say is that i never want to meet pete in the middle of a dark alley! That would be so scary cuz hes a bad-to-tha-bone thug

reply

I really enjoyed the part of the film where the buttercreamers challenge valdez and his gang to a fight.

reply

My god peeps! What the hell is so wrong and bad about this movie?? Don't like the idea of kids helping others? Maybe you were too busy blowing up animals, and now are jealous that Pete was forgiven and became a better person, while you got grounded.

reply

i was just wondering why anybody would argue over the quality, the message, the acting, etc. in the buttercream gang? all you people think it is "dumb" or "dorky"at parts, but all those parts are hilarious. the whole movie is a riot. my whole family has memorized every single line. its a hit baby, a hilarious hit. that's all there is to say. the buttercream gang...perfect.

reply

Yeah it's really realistic that high school kids have a tree house that has a "no girls allowed" sign.

There's not a single black person in the whole movie, for one. All the "good guys" are a perfect example of aryan breeding while the bad guy is Latin (most possibly Mexican). It portrays the city like some evil corrupting force, and I don't know what god damn time this is supposed to take place. Pete with his Puerto Rican tuxedo and the bikes had me convinced it was the 90's but everything else screamed 70's. Where the hell have you found coke in a glass bottle since like, 1985.

reply

well if you would continue to watch the sequel, there's a pretty involved butter creamer named Eli who happens to be african american. and which bad guy is latin? cause pete's just as white as the rest of them.
