Is the vhs cut the full version?

I ordered a dvd-r of this film tooken from the vhs release.I've watched it and the infamous hell scene did'nt seem to last 15 minutes.I mean what I seen was an awful lot of gore and it seems the torture of the guy on the table who gets ripped apart is intact but it seemed shorter than 10-15 minutes or however long it's supposed to be.For resource I ordered the dvd-r of this off horror theater.com that's usually supposed to have all their movies unedited.Is the version i'm referring to the full cut or the shorter cut as I heard there's an 88m cut and a 96m cut.I may have the shorter cut but am not sure of this.
