doesn't need to invite the Vampire's in Dumbass it's a Public place they don't need permission.
Well, there's a legend that boogeymen can't grab children unless they "tempt" them in some way. You have to dangle an arm or leg down by the bottom of the bed, or (if the monster is outside) unlatch the window - stuff like that.
Although, now that you mention it, Hemery High has really substandard security. You'd think a place with so many underage people coming and going would be sensitive to suspicious characters, if you get my drift. Like the basketball game where Grueller reveals himself as a vampire: Merrick just walks into the gymnasium and sits down in the bleachers in full view of everyone! Isn't there something....off about a mysterious guy in a trench coat sitting down to watch young people in shorts, skirts, and/or leggings? I mean, why would people think that guy was there?
well it was early 1990's...the 'good' schools really did not worry about security like they do now. I went to similar schools and we did not really have security until I just graduated. really anybody could walk in. Security was something which only 'certain' schools had to worry about. Different today with all the shootings everywhere regardless of socioeconomic status etc.share
