Richard or robert patrick???

Though I wasn´t able to watch this movie, I would like to know if it´s really Robert Patrick (T1000) who´s playing in the movie or if it´s actually Richard Patrick who has been a member of NIN (Robert(T1000) was NEVER EVER member of NIN as some reviewer claimed!!)and then founded the band Filter...?

I am the reviewer you're talking and about and I didn't actually realize the blunder I had made before some guy pointed it out to me in a PM. A brainfart that is now seemingly quite popular among the NIN fans here - I was new to the band back then, so gimme a break ;)

Anyway, according to IMDB, that is Robert Patrick who plays the cop. The few glimpses that you get of him makes me agree with that, although it's not 100%, as he's wearing shades. I wonder if he ever got to see it and what his thoughts on it were?

It doesn't really matter, they're both made of an advanced alloy allowing them to shape-shift.

It's Richard Patrick who then yes, made Filter

The cop in the film is indeed Robert Patrick. It would make sense that he is in it because his brother, is Richard Patrick who was the live guitarist for Nine Inch Nails at the time.

I have a copy of a first generation copy of Broken and the picture is very clear in the scene where Robert appears. Its no mistake that it is Robert in the film.

I would very much like to know who did the special effects for the film because they were amazingly realistic. But since the film contains no credits what so ever, it seems that no one knows this at all. Which is a shame.

On the Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition DVD, Robert Patrick can be seen wearing a NIN leather jacket.

I don't know.. to me it certainly doesn't look like him (nose and facial features aren't the same.) There is no other viable source either for this info and it has never been stated by the band (Reznor or otherwise) that it is indeed Robert. This is STILL just a rumour to me unless there is other proof. IMDB has had it's facts wrong before and until I see verifiable proof, I believe this is another case of that.

You're absolutely right; I recently brought this up on the Spiral forum. The most telling clue is the actor's ears; they don't bow out at the top like Robert Patrick's do. It's not Richard either, as his nose is visibly asymmetrical and the actor's is not.

The effects were probably all Christopherson's doing, considering what he did with Coil.
