DVD

Has anybody heard any thing about this being released on dvd? I have had this movie saved in my netflix list for it seems like years, this is the only morris doc i haven't seen and its killing me!!!!

It seems it still hasn't been officially released on DVD but you can get unofficial DVD's on ebay. There is a guy in the U.S. selling them for quite a lot ($36 is the current bid) but I got mine from a British seller for about $5, maybe because he didn't seem to realise it was the Errol Morris film, he just calls it 'Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time on dvd'. It's recorded from Beta or VHS or something so the picture quality isn't up to modern standards but I doubt others are any different. It's well worth seeing, not Morris' best but still a great watch.

I really like this movie & I too have been trying yo find it on DVD.
According to all Channels I've checked, Including major bookstores, DVD and CD specialty stores; and Inernet sources, and all have stated this movie has NOT been released in a DVD format officially.
I found this a bit surprizing and no one seems to no why it hasn,t been released.
There are Bootlegs available but you know how that is-- "let the buyer beware".
It is still available on VHS.

this title is available through the inter-library loan system at many libraries. that is how I obtained the movie. it's phenomenal. give the library a shot. not sure if it's a bootleg or not, but i dont' remember it being one.

best of luck

The bonus features sound promising, but unfortunately, they won't be including the making-of featurette.

Saw this documentary recently after discovering they're gonna release a criterion edition. It looks pretty good.
